Over the years, Pi Shurlok has built its powertrain and emissions knowledge with some key transmission projects. These have ranged from prototyping to mass production and from passenger cars to heavy trucks.
For example, we have assisted with the development of rapid prototyping controls for Infinitely Variable Transmission systems. We have also developed 4x4 transfer case controls and a variety of diff-lock / interlock electronics. This has played to Pi Shurlok's strengths of safety critical systems and software design.
As a result of our experience with interfacing between different systems, dealing with the variety of communications protocols that can be involved is another of our key strengths.
It is also worth noting that the G850 powertrain version of our OpenECU product family is designed to control a conventional automatic transmission, in addition to the hardware required to manage the engine. |
