All OpenECU™ electronic control units are designed to automotive standards and defense industry requirements for prototype and production use. All standard units have been validated for at least one application, which significantly reduce time and cost if further applications specific qualification is required before moving to volume production.
Each member of the OpenECU family has been carefully specified to be suited to a wide range of applications through software configurable options.
The majority of standard modules can support the addition of a custom daughter card to enable extremely cost effective custom solutions to be created in a fraction of the time required to develop a custom ECU from scratch.
Calibration memory solutions are available for all OpenECU units to enable the use of calibration on-the-fly tools during applications development. For those family members that do not have calibration memory fitted as standard, special variants are available to order. | |
