Login OpenECU - Customised Hardware

The OpenECU Mxxx standard hardware has been designed to be easily converted to a customised hardware configuration by the addition of a plug-in daughter card.

This is a highly cost effective and time efficient route to production for small to medium volumes, as it re-uses the proven standard hardware platform.

The main circuit board in each standard OpenECU can be configured to route a range of internal processor signals and external connector pins to the plug-in location of the daughter card to facilitate implementation of a wide range of functions.

A recent application for this technology was to add an unusual combination of communication features to an OpenM100 for use in a vehicle body control.
