Stackpoole Appointed Head of Business Development, Global Defense & Specialty Systems
Julie Stackpoole has joined Pi Shurlok as Head of Business Development, Global Defense & Specialty Systems, with the mission of advocating for the firm’s unique electronic vehicle control systems. She comes to Pi Shurlok from Radian Design Corporation, where she consulted on defense and government contracting. Previously she was director, government affairs at Gonzalez Design Group and vice president, governmental affairs as BOSSdev.

"Low Carbon Vehicles 2009" is the focus of the IMechE's conference on 20 and 21 May 2009 at the IMechE in London.

MIRA unveiled a new hybrid car development called H4V early in 2008.
The attached MIRA presentation focuses on the need for an open architecture feature of the vehicle's engine ECU – and MIRA’s selection of Pi Shurlok’s OpenECU.
Pi Shurlok’s OpenECU is a commercially supported open-architecture automotive controller comprising the ECU hardware, a software toolbox and, optionally, open source gasoline engine control strategies.
